Nurse Para Sub

About the role

Work in the nurses offices within the district on an on-call basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Post-secondary degree desired
• Knowledgeable computer user; understanding of learning skills
• Solid communication skills
• CPR Training/Certification
• General First Aid Training/Certification
• Willingness to work with students with unique backgrounds and skills
• Team player and team-oriented thinker

Responsibilities

• Organize the health office
• Manage medications
• Care for students
• Communication with parents
• Track all equipment
• Maintain accurate records
• General clerical duties
• Maintain confidentiality
• Practice and carry out rules and procedures as defined by the Pipestone Area School District

Supervision

Nurse subs report to the building principal/school nurse.

Compensation

• $80 for a half day and $160 for a full day
• Benefits include Earn Safe and Sick time leave
