Job Summary
The Nurse Operations Manager performs a variety of administrative and nursing duties in supervising and caring for patients from minor treatment to acutely ill in a one-of-a-kind, free-standing outpatient facility, providing easy access to unscheduled care. This hyper-efficient delivery of Emergency Medicine Specialty Services combined with outpatient facilities efficiently provides high quality care that can yield lower ER visits, lower hospital admissions, and create savings.
Essential Job Functions
- Build relationships with patients and employees and help support a culture of passion and enthusiasm.
- Perform meaningful growth meetings with RN’s and PCC’s on a routine basis.
- Identify areas of improvement that will result in the meeting or exceeding of organizational quality metric goals.
- Adhere to and positively promote all protocols.
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance of all equipment in the clinical area.
- Completion of checklists and assigned tasks by deadlines.
- Generate clinical staff schedule ensuring it is fair (all requests for time off considered, no one staff member working unreasonable number of shifts in a row, etc.) and all shifts are covered.
- Cook up and provide oversight of the training of the clinical team members to include providers, lab team, and radiology techs during the clinical portion of training.
- Professionally and expertly represent GEMD during surveys related to the clinical area (DOH, COLA, AHCA, JC, etc.).
- Participate in QA/PI activities.
Qualifications
