Nurse / Med Nurse - Full Time

Role: Staff Registered Nurse/Med Nurse Responsibilities Assess and treat students for injuries and illnesses, including communicable diseases like COVID-19 and flu.Administer daily medications and maintain accurate documentation in designated systems.Follow infection control protocols, including PPE use and sanitization.Communicate with faculty, parents, pharmacy, and physicians regarding student health, medication compliance, and updates.Manage medication inventory, proper disposal of expired medications, and oversee controlled substance records.Maintain the health center’s cleanliness, equipment, and supplies.Adhere to nursing protocols, review policies annually, and participate in staff meetings.Ensure licensure and certifications are current. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2+ years nursing experience.Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with medical professionals and school community.Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts.Proximity within 30 minutes of the school. Key Duties: Providing student care, medication management, infection control, documentation, and communication to ensure student health and safety.
