About the role
Seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to lead the nursing team in a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting, hiring, and training nursing staff to ensure competent care.
- Overseeing medication management, admission/discharge processes, and maintaining detailed client documentation.
- Monitoring nursing quality, organizing lab work, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Providing ongoing training, facilitating communication among staff and treatment providers, and managing performance evaluations.
- Maintaining nursing spaces, supplies, and ensuring proper medication handling and inventory.
- Participating in meetings, managing on-call staff, and addressing emergency or coverage needs.
- Supporting infection control, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited school and current RN licensure.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in a residential or hospital eating disorder setting.
- Strong communication, patient relations, and time management skills; ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
