Nurse Manager - MICU Nights

Role Overview

The ANM supports the Nurse Manager in daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high patient care standards. They serve as a mentor and clinical leader to foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Ensuring staffing levels meet operational goals, overseeing productivity, and managing budgets.
• Providing patient care aligned with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
• Coinciding multidisciplinary team efforts including case management, social work, and therapy services.
• Leading staff meetings, handling payroll, and managing disciplinary actions.
• Maintaining compliance with safety standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, RN license, and 2+ years of RN experience required; leadership experience and ICU background preferred.
