About the role

A compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to lead a 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit, supporting daily operations, clinical oversight, staff development, and maintaining high patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nurse Manager with daily operations and clinical oversight.
• Manage personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Ensure staffing levels meet departmental goals, oversee staff productivity, and manage budgets and resource allocation.
• Create and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.
• Coordinate staff schedules, approve payroll, and conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment with strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• BSN required; active RN license essential.
• 2+ years of RN experience, with preferred experience in ICU and leadership roles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
