Nurse Manager - LTC

About the role

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fast-paced subacute rehab environment, focusing on recovery, independence, and safe transitions for patients with diverse medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall coordination of patient care, ensuring safe, age-appropriate treatment and supporting recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality services.
• Supervise staff and maintain safety, dignity, and comfort for patients.
• Provide safe, comprehensive patient care and oversee resource management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and promote a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN required, BSN preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation.
• At least 2 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles.

• Strong clinical knowledge in geriatric, subacute, rehab, or memory care.
• Dependability, compassion, and motivation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
