Nurse Manager - LTC
About the Role
Meets all key functions of the RN Role. Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and Director of Hospital Operations or Director of Nursing for Long Term Care and Geriatric Center Administrator, depending on assigned area. Assumes 24-hour management accountability for the overall direction and coordination of resources to ensure comprehensive patient/resident care and quality service to all customers based on the core values of Levindale. Responsible for ensuring safe, age-appropriate patient/resident care is provided in a fast-paced subacute rehab environment.
Hall 1 cares for patients with a variety of medical conditions including post-surgical recovery, orthopedic rehabilitation, cardiac conditions, wound care, IV therapy, and other skilled nursing needs. The unit promotes a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on safety, dignity, comfort, and high-quality care. Team members must be compassionate, motivated, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional support to patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour management accountability for overall direction and coordination of resources.
- Ensure comprehensive patient/resident care and quality service delivery.
- Oversee safe, age-appropriate care in a subacute rehab setting.
- Maintain a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on safety and dignity.
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license.
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association).
- Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program (ASN required, BSN preferred).
- 5-7 years of nursing experience in LTC, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation.
- At least 2 years in a leadership, charge, or supervisory role.
- Strong clinical knowledge in geriatric, subacute, rehab, or memory care.

Pay
Pay range: $43 to $65 per hour, based on experience.
