Nurse Manager Inpatient Rehabilitation Program

About the role

We are seeking an Inpatient Rehab Manager to provide leadership and expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in our Rehab Unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and take responsibility for the delivery of safe, quality, patient care for assigned departments on a 24-hour basis.
• Ensure department's standard of nursing practice, nursing policies and procedures meet legal, and all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements.
• Ensure the continuity of care through demonstrated use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
• Collaborate and share pertinent patient information with physicians, patients, and other members of the healthcare team regarding patient progress, and treatment.
• Develop and implement ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assesses and improve quality of nursing care delivered to patients, working toward hospital-wide improvement in meeting core measure, patient safety, and service excellence goals in assigned units.
• Ensure the effective coordination of the patient's care with other services and departments throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• 3 years previous experience in an acute care setting.
• Management specialty certification required within 6 months of eligibility; unit specialty certification also preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role is typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
