Responsibilities
- Oversee regional operations and administrative functions
- Support staff development and performance
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with program requirements
- Cookordination outbreak response activities
- Help ensure public health needs are effectively addressed throughout the region
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an associate or bachelor degree and at least 2 years of RN experience
- Non-Nurses will be trained to perform phlebotomy (blood draws)
- Employee will intermittently conduct field visits to locate clients for notification, education, testing and/or treatment
Qualifications
- Licenses And Certifications: Registered Nurse applicants must have a current South Dakota nursing license
- Knowledge: Knowledge Of public health;disease prevention and treatment;supervision and management;state and federal laws, rules, and regulations;ethical and professional conduct;privacy practices and reporting procedures;clinical or laboratory policies and procedures
- Skill: To establish interpersonal relationships with internal and external partners;interpret and implement state and federal policies and procedures;analyze data and procedures related to program quality assurance guidelines;provide quality customer service and technical assistance;listen to and respond to client and provider needs;effectively problem solve and participate in work groups;effectively build teams;act decisively
