About us
The Oklahoma Forensic Center (OFC) located in Vinita, OK is a 24-hour/365-day secure inpatient forensic facility that provides jail competency services for the State of Oklahoma. Currently, OFC has 268 beds for consumers who have been found incompetent for adjudication or adjudicated as Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
About the role
The Nursing department is hiring for a Nurse Manager who will be responsible for the supervision and management of staff, programs, and units in an inpatient behavioral health facility. This includes broad management responsibilities such as planning, organizing, and integrating various functions, as well as directing assigned staff to meet the goals and objectives of the program.
Open until filled. Full-time position with primary working hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Shift differential applies when applicable.
Requirements
- Valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
- Four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and three years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or a master’s degree and two years of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Ability to pass an OSBI background check.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to fulfill job-related travel.
- Upon conditional offer of employment, must pass a physical examination, including the ability to occasionally lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.

Pay
$38.46 per hour.
Schedule
Full-time, primarily 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a drug test. Appointment is contingent upon a negative result.
