About the Role

10K sign-on bonus available. The Nurse Manager will work independently and interdependently with hospital and corporate systems to accomplish efficient, cost-effective, quality patient care. This role acts as an expert clinical resource supporting the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee department operations, including staff scheduling and ensuring equipment availability for patient care.
  • Manage hiring, disciplinary actions, and annual staff reviews.
  • Communicate clearly and openly to promote a collaborative environment.
  • Build relationships and hold accountability for performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the patient experience.
  • Demonstrate initiative for professional growth.
  • Engage in building a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current certifications as required by the department.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Cardiology experience (preferred).
  • Managerial or supervisory experience (preferred).
