About the role
The Nurse Manager oversees nursing staff in the Med Surg and Outpatient Departments, supporting the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care.
- Collaborates with administrative personnel, physicians, and staff to enhance communication, data sharing, and process improvement across departments.
- Ensures efficient resource utilization and meets productivity and financial goals.
- Achieves customer service satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree (BSN preferred)
- Valid Missouri RN license or compact licensure
- At least three years of nursing experience in procedural areas
- Licenses: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required within 90 days
- Leadership experience preferred
