About the Role
- Provide direct clinical nursing care and supervisory leadership that helps individuals navigate crisis and build toward recovery
- Supervise, evaluate, and train nursing staff while managing medication administration, MAP compliance, and medical supply operations
- Conduct nursing assessments, transcribe and administer medications, coordinate staffing, and facilitate aftercare planning

Responsibilities
- Consult regularly with the Senior Nurse Manager, providers, Program Director, and CSS program staff for referral, treatment planning, and medical interventions
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, transcribe medications per MAP regulations, and administer medications according to MAP protocol when MAP staff are unavailable
- Participate in daily medication inventory, coordinate refills with pharmacy/prescribers, and destroy outdated/unused medications per policy
- Determine and implement treatment/referral responses using the least restrictive alternative and communicate these to program staff
- Complete nursing assessments, progress notes, medication orders, inventories, and discharge summaries in a clear, timely manner
- Triage and coordinate nursing staffing and workflow across all shifts, maintaining effectiveness under changing conditions
- Use the Self-Medication Assessment tool and provide education/training to support individuals' self-medication skill development
- Provide and document vital signs and MAP competency training to MAP-certified staff, including procedures for high-alert medications
- Supervise, evaluate, and train other nurses working in the program, and manage medical supply inventory
- Facilitate transfer and discharge of individuals served to the next level of care, and maintain a safe, healthy milieu with appropriate boundaries
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in behavioral health and 1 year of post-graduate experience in medical-surgical nursing required

Pay
Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000
