Nurse Manager (Back Office) - (Hybrid) - Gastroenterology/General GI
About the role
The Nurse Manager oversees patient care staff and patient treatment, collaborating with the Nurse Administrator to develop policies and procedures that comply with medical school, state, and federal regulations. They also manage the operational budget, ensuring supplies and equipment are ordered and repaired as needed.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates patient services with physicians and staff to ensure quality care.
- Reviews and assists in the development of policies and procedures.
- Assists in preparing and controlling the departmental operational budget.
- Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure operational standards are met.
- Directs, assigns, and coordinates activities of staff, evaluates performance, and advises administration on staffing issues.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of clinical experience, a registered nurse license in either Missouri or Illinois, and basic life support certification. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess supervisory management skills, electronic health records (EHR) proficiency, and strong communication abilities. They should also be familiar with Epic EHR and have experience with IV medication administration.
