Nurse Manager

About the role

A non-profit social services organization seeks a Nurse Manager to lead and manage staff in a dynamic, non-traditional healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead staff (clinical and non-clinical) in a fast-paced, non-traditional setting.
• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, scheduling, and workflow.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (Article 28, HIPAA, documentation standards).
• Drive care coordination and patient access, especially for complex, underserved populations.
• Handle staff and patient issues, including conflict resolution.
• Monitor quality metrics, reporting, and performance trends and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in clinical or human services field preferred.
• RN with 5+ years clinical experience and 3+ years leadership experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience from ambulatory/FQHC/community health/primary care setting.
• RN & BSN.
• Experience in ambulatory care, community health, or FQHC settings.
• Comfortable working with homeless or vulnerable populations.
• Strong in operations, compliance, and team leadership.
