Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, professional, mission-aligned work environment.
- Supervise CMAs, RNs, LPNs, Vaccine Coordinators, and other assigned staff.
- Provide effective onboarding, ongoing training, and skills development for non-provider clinical staff.
- Lead efficient team meetings, huddles, and communication touchpoints.
- Support care coordination and clinical decision-making to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care within RN scope as needed.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve patient care processes; participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate clinical competency for 90-day and annual performance reviews; document results and provide coaching or remediation.
- Maintain required logs, records, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist with management and monitoring of clinical supplies and equipment.
- Oversee the environment of care, ensuring adherence to infection control, safety, and emergency response policies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of vaccine coordination processes—including VFC and private inventory management, temperature monitoring, NJIIS documentation, and VFC site survey requirements.
Qualifications
- RN; BSN required
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
- 1+ year of ambulatory care experience, FQHC preferred
- 1+ year of supervisory/managerial experience
- Current BLS certification
- Valid NJ driver’s license and reliable transportation

Total Compensation Range
The total compensation range for this position is USD $80,000 to USD $135,000. When determining an offer, VNACJ CHC considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
