About the role

The Oklahoma County Crisis Intervention Center (OCCIC) is a fast-paced, acute crisis care facility located in OKC. It provides 24/7 psychiatric and substance abuse care for individuals in crisis. The treatment philosophy is trauma sensitive, co-occurring, person-centered and recovery-oriented in nature. We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager to join our team to provide leadership, supervision, and flexibility in floor coverages (including shift and weekend hours) to our facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and flexibility in floor coverages (including shift and weekend hours) to our facility staff.
• Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and policies.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and staff performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex patient needs.
• Oversee the implementation of new programs and initiatives.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), and three years of professional nursing experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity;
  • Or a bachelor’s degree in nursing and two years of professional nursing experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity;
  • Or a master’s degree and one year of professional nursing experience in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Level I: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Level II: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program.
• Level III: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity.
• Level IV: Possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, or Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), and four years of professional nursing experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity PLUS one additional year of professional nursing experience in a managerial or consultative capacity or providing consultation and educational services in a specialized field or program PLUS two additional years of professional nursing experience in an administrative capacity.

• Shift differential pay can be stacked—for example, working night shifts on the weekend could earn you an additional $8.00 per hour.

Pay

Annual Salary: $78,500 – $85,000 based on qualifications

Schedule

This is a full-time position with coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
