About the role

As a Unit Manager, you are instrumental in managing all operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they expect by:

• Supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit
• Providing guidance and education to clinical staff
• Assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture
• Ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained
• Ensuring adequate staffing for our residents’ needs

Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

Requirements

• Unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (R.N.) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) license
• C.P.R. Certification
• Three years of experience as a nurse in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility (preferred)
• Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit
