Nurse Manager

About the role

We are currently searching for a Nurse Manager to join our friendly, caring, and supportive team at Oakwood Care Center. Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the medication and nursing care they need as directed by their individual care plan.
• Conduct resident assessments.
• Be a team leader.
• Afford residents with the knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

Requirements

• Minimum of an unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• One (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility.
• Previous unit manager experience required.

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
