About the role
Oakwood Care Center is seeking a Nurse Manager to join the clinical team. This role is responsible for ensuring residents receive medication and nursing care as directed by individual care plans, conducting resident assessments, serving as a team leader, and advocating for residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure residents receive medication and nursing care as directed by their individual care plan
- Conduct resident assessments
- Serve as a team leader for the clinical department
- Advocate for residents to ensure they are comfortable and safe
Requirements
- Unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- One (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing facility
- Previous unit manager experience required
