Nurse Manager
Job Details
The Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight for nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This individual will support staff development, drive operational excellence, and foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services on assigned shifts or units.
- Ensure all patient care activities are completed in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Assign and manage nursing personnel to meet patient care needs.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify staff development and training opportunities.
- Serve as a clinical leader, mentor, and resource for nursing staff.
- Promote a positive, patient-focused culture and celebrate patient successes throughout the rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
- CRRN certification required within one year of eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field preferred.
- Minimum of five years of nursing experience, including recent inpatient hospital experience.
- Prior leadership experience in a charge nurse, lead nurse, supervisor, or similar role.
- Proven ability to manage staff performance, resolve issues, and drive positive patient and operational outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, or hospital-based nursing leadership experience.
- Strong team-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing clinical operations and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Compensation
$80,000 - $120,000 per year
