Nurse Manager

About the role

Havenwood of Minnetonka is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Nurse Manager, RN to join their team. This position provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises the care provided by Resident Care Associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), family/social activities, and actively promote an independent lifestyle of residents as needed.
• Identify resident medical and behavioral changes and develop and monitor care plans, re-assessing each resident as necessary.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services regarding community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in accordance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in coordinating nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
• Participate in resident care conferences as needed.
• Participate in the orientation of new nursing department personnel.
• Assist with direct resident care including bathing, feeding, making beds, toileting, answering call lights, transporting residents to appointments and activities as needed.
• Encourage resident engagement in activities.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
• Currently licensed RN with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Currently CPR certified.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in memory care preferred.

Pay

$85,000 - $95,000/year
