About the role
We’re seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the daily clinical operations of our Primary & Specialty Care Practice. This role blends hands-on nursing with team leadership, workflow oversight, and quality improvement. You’ll support staff, foster a positive patient experience, and help ensure our practice runs smoothly every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support clinical staff; manage daily workflow and staffing
- Oversee telephone triage and ensure ClearTriage usage
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Collaborate with nursing leads to support smooth clinic operations
- Address patient concerns and support resolution
- Manage invoices, documentation, and quality improvement tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR a documented plan to complete a BSN within NYSED's RN BSN requirement timeframe OR Associate degree with degree/license dates meeting NYSED’s exemption requirements
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in New York State
- Current BCLS certification
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting, with ambulatory outpatient experience preferred
- Familiarity with computers, EMR software (Medent), and MS Office software (Outlook, Word)
- Previous staff supervisory experience (ideal)
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally
- Awareness of and sensitivity to the issues and health disparities faced by underserved populations
