Nurse LPN/RN

About the Role

A skilled nurse (LPN or RN) provides compassionate, individualized care in an eating disorder treatment setting. This PRN position involves direct client interaction, assessments, medication oversight, and emergency response during night shifts, including at least two weekend shifts per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform client assessments and oversee medical issues
• Conduct blood draws and report lab values
• Act as lead during medical emergencies
• Facilitate effective communication with clients, treatment teams, labs, and external medical offices
• Support holistic, team-based care and maintain client trust and confidentiality
• Attend trainings and adhere to policies, HIPAA laws, and safety protocols

Requirements

• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Virginia
• Appropriate nursing degree and CPR/First Aid certification
• Proof of MMR and Hep B vaccinations
• Successful background checks
