Nurse - LPN or RN

About the role

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Nurse to join their caregiving team at Eagle Crest South I in La Crosse, WI. This role offers full-time, part-time, and casual call opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Care Assistants regarding medication distribution and documentation
• Ensure residents receive proper care and treatment, protect and promote their health and safety, and respect their rights
• Ensure staff have proper training and competency to perform their duties
• Conduct physical and behavioral assessments of residents
• Create and maintain Individual Service Plans using staff input
• Maintain compliance with relevant policies and procedures

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin as either a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience working in assisted living, long-term care, and/or community health is beneficial, but not required—training provided for the right fit
• Demonstrated interest in gerontological nursing, including rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices, diabetic care, memory care, and end-of-life care
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required for some positions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a nursing program
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR certification

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of geriatric care and end-of-life care
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay

• Licensed Practical Nurses starting wage between $31.00+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• Registered Nurses starting range between $39.50+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications
• New PM, Increased NOC, and New Weekend Differentials apply!

Schedule

• AM Part-Time: 6am - 2:30pm, 6am - 12:30pm
• PM Part-Time: 12pm - 8:30pm, 2pm - 10:30pm
• Full-Time: 12pm - 8:30pm, 2pm - 10:30pm
