Nurse - LPN

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Nurse - LPN to join our healthcare team in a correctional facility. You will provide patient care, collaborate with medical professionals, maintain accurate documentation, and educate patients on policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and conduct vital sign checks
• Perform triaging screenings
• Collaborate with medical professionals to follow treatment plans and obtain necessary orders
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
• Ensure adherence to infection control and aseptic techniques
• Educate patients on policies and discharge procedures
• Assist in training new staff
• Participate in educational sessions

Requirements

• Active North Dakota LPN license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of infection control, pharmacology, and HIPAA regulations
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and nutritional guidelines
