Responsibilities

• Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
• Perform Patient Care Technician/Patient Support Technician skills
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, ambulation, and transfers
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient condition
• Support a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Currently enrolled in an RN Nursing Program
• Successful completion of the first semester (Level I) of nursing school
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Must meet the requirements of a Patient Care Technician position
