About the role

The Nurse Intern performs basic nursing procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Flexibility is key, as assignments can change rapidly. The intern carries out assigned tasks with minimal continuous supervision and is accountable for all patient care provided during a shift.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in a nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Successfully completed medical surgical nursing course and clinical
• Must successfully pass the NCLEX within 90 days upon graduation of nursing program
• Maximum length of time in role is 15 months

Qualifications

• High School, GED, Trn, Exper. (Degrees)
• Basic Life Support (Licensure/Certification)
• Actively enrolled in a nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Successfully completed medical surgical nursing course and clinical
• Upon graduation of nursing program, must successfully pass the NCLEX within 90 days
