Summary
Aid the nursing staff in delivering patient care as per BayCare's role-specific responsibilities for a Nurse Helper I position.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care without encountering any body fluids (blood, urine, stool, saliva, dirty linens, emesis, etc.) or any devices that contain body fluids (such as urinary catheters, nasogastric tubes, drains, used basins, etc.).
Requirements
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Standard WELLE® training is required.
- Must complete Nurse Helper training class prior to orientation on the nursing unit.
