Nurse (Friday-Tuesday/Day Shift/6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

Mary's Woods is a non-profit senior living community founded in 2001. We offer independent living, assisted living, memory care, and residential care in a park-like setting on 40 acres in Lake Oswego. Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in the execution or supervision of skilled nursing procedures, such as medication administration and treatments within the scope of licensure.
• Assists the Unit Coordinator in writing and updating medical/nursing plans of care or service plans.
• Documents resident information using appropriate terminology, spelling, and abbreviations according to facility, state, and federal policies.
• Makes daily rounds to identify early signs and symptoms or changes in residents’ physical or psychological status and consults with physicians or DNS as necessary.
• Responsible for developing and overseeing the total care plan/service plan to ensure compliance.
• Provides and assures resident safety measures at all times.
• Creates an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates differences.
• Functions and communicates effectively and respectfully within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrates knowledge of residents’ medical diagnoses and current medical status, using this to document physical, emotional, and social needs.

Requirements

• Holds a current and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the State of Oregon.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Long Term Care (or similar) environment preferred.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Handlers certification within three (3) months of hire.

Pay

• LPN: Starting at $36.00/hour
• RN: Starting at $42.00/hour
