About the role

Ivy Tech Evansville is hiring passionate Registered Nurses to join the #1 nursing program in Indiana. The program boasts a 100% NCLEX pass rate in 2024 for both ASN and PN graduates. As part of the faculty, you'll teach in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings, sharing your real-world experience with the next generation of nurses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach nursing courses including lectures, labs, and clinicals
  • Develop course materials and assessments
  • Advise students and support their academic journey
  • Collaborate on curriculum development and program planning
  • Maintain a safe and effective learning environment
  • Participate in professional development and college events

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license
  • Three (3) years of RN experience
  • One of the following: Master’s degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s in Nursing with a written plan to complete a Master’s in Nursing and documented semester-by-semester progress toward it
  • Pediatric nursing experience preferred
  • Previous experience in teaching or clinical instruction preferred

Schedule & Pay

  • Work Hours: Monday–Friday, daytime hours only (no weekends or night shifts)
  • Contract Options: 12-Month: $70,000 – $85,000, 9-Month: $55,000 – $65,000

$55,000 – $85,000 depending on contract length
