About the Role
Be the heart of compassionate care in a patient care support role with us! In this vital role, you'll provide essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. This is a developmental program for nursing students who want to develop multiple and varied clinical skills across multiple nursing specialties. This position requires participation in a guided training and development program aligned to the scope outlined by the State-specific Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Provide expanded clinical experience for RN nursing students.
- Assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities.
- Participate in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation.
- Report significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program, and upon completion of first clinical rotation.
- AHA BLS certification.
