Nurse Extern PRN

Role Overview: The Nurse Extern PRN provides high-quality, patient-centered care under RN supervision, assisting with basic nursing tasks, ADLs, vital signs, and patient comfort. They support wound care, specimen collection, and maintain a safe, organized environment. Responsibilities: Assist with patient care, document accurately, communicate with the care team, educate patients and families, and promote infection control practices. Engage in learning opportunities to develop skills and contribute to care improvements. Qualifications: Enrolled in an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s), with at least 6 months remaining before graduation. Must complete Fundamentals of Nursing and obtain BLS within 30 days. Able to work 24 productive hours monthly.
