Nurse Extern - Medical

About the role

Nursey externs will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of clinical settings at McLeod Health. This position provides a structured learning environment where externs can observe and assist licensed nurses under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses with patient care activities
• Observe and learn from experienced nurses
• Participate in patient education sessions
• Support administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a nursing program
• Passing score on a criminal background check
• Current CPR certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong academic performance in related courses
