About the role
The Nurse Externs at Cabell Huntington Hospital are provided with an opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience under the guidance of Registered Nurses. They work within the framework of hospital and nursing service policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and assigned nursing tasks
- Assist the nurse with carrying out patient care activities
Requirements
Nursing degree or currently enrolled in a nursing program is required. No prior experience is necessary as this position provides training and experience.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Basic computer skills are also preferred.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, and a compassionate attitude are essential.
