About the role
A vital member of the nursing team gaining hands-on experience in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), vital signs, mobility, comfort, and hygiene
- Perform basic nursing tasks such as wound care, catheter care, and specimen collection
- Accurately document care and communicate updates to the nursing team
- Educate patients and families about care plans and recovery
- Maintain a clean, safe environment following infection control practices
- Engage in learning opportunities and collaborate with supervisors to support personal growth
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in progress or completed
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
