About the role

Support registered nurses by providing direct patient care, developing clinical skills, and assisting with patient activities within a supervised environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report urgent patient conditions
• Assist with patient mobility and daily activities
• Collect specimens and maintain sterile techniques
• Document patient information accurately
• Support diagnostic procedures
• Participate in team meetings, training, and safety protocols
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards
• Use supplies appropriately and record care and charges

Requirements

• Currently in final semester of nursing school
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
