About the Role

The Nurse Educator is a clinical expert responsible for designing, facilitating, and assessing nursing education programs to meet training needs across departments. They lead onboarding for new Patient Care Services staff and collaborate with leadership to develop curricula that enhance clinical competencies. The role fosters a collaborative, quality-focused work environment that promotes excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct educational assessments to identify training needs.
• Deliver training programs for nursing staff.
• Lead onboarding for new Patient Care Services staff.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and update nursing curricula.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and best practices in patient care.
• Actively participate in Shared Governance initiatives.
• Support a culture of inquiry and continuous improvement in healthcare practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN licensure (single or multi-state).
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
