This role is a dynamic nursing leadership position focused on developing and delivering educational programs that promote clinical excellence, professional growth, and quality patient care. As part of an innovative pilot program, the Nurse Educator will design, implement, and evaluate an Internal MOA Training Program, establishing educational standards, onboarding processes, credentialing pathways, and preceptor development initiatives. About the role

The Nurse Educator serves as a mentor, coach, and resource for nursing staff while supporting the development of a highly skilled and engaged workforce. Responsibilities include facilitating orientation and onboarding for new employees, supporting competency validation and credentialing requirements, and partnering with operational leaders to identify educational needs and foster continuous learning. Through collaboration, mentorship, and evidence-based education, the Nurse Educator ensures staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver educational programs that promote clinical excellence and professional growth.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate an Internal MOA Training Program.
  • Establish educational standards, onboarding processes, credentialing pathways, and preceptor development initiatives.
  • Facilitate orientation and onboarding for new employees.
  • Support competency validation and credentialing requirements.
  • Partner with operational leaders to identify educational needs and foster continuous learning.
  • Mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance skills and confidence in delivering patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Three (3) years of Nursing Practice experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Professional nursing certification in Professional Development.
  • Professional certification in another nursing area.

Pay

Compensation is hourly, depending on experience.
