Nurse Educator/Employee Health Nurse Fulltime Sign-on Bonus 5K

Responsibilities

• Facilitate annual training updates.
• Maintain compliance with TJC, regulatory agencies, and UHS guidelines.
• Serve as the Administrator for the Facilities Learning Management System, HealthStream.
• Act as the facility’s liaison with local colleges/nursing students.
• Develop, implement, and participate in customer service and staff training programs.
• Provide monthly documentation and accountability reports to management.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of healthcare experience required, with mental health experience preferred.
• Prior clinical experience and recent psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Psychology, Nursing, or related field required.
• Active and unencumbered RN licensure and registration by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing required.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of investigative interviewing methods and techniques; crisis intervention techniques; and federal, state, and local patient rights issues.
• Computer software and keyboard proficiency, ability to operate various office equipment, and physical agility to manage patients.
