NURSE DIRECTOR Labor & Delivery | Antenatal BWH
About the role
Join Brigham and Women’s Hospital and help define the future of women’s health, maternal-fetal care, and nursing leadership. Full time 40 hours | Main Campus Boston.
Responsibilities
- Lead one of the region's most advanced inpatient obstetric programs.
- Oversee: 23-bed Labor & Delivery Unit, 12-bed Antenatal Unit, 4 Obstetric Operating Rooms, 8 Obstetric Triage Rooms.
- Provide strategic, operational, financial, and clinical leadership.
- Partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary leaders to advance care and ensure a caring, healing and collaborative environment.
- Shape the future of maternal-fetal nursing care within a nationally recognized medical center.
Requirements
- Current registration/licensure in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- MSN, DNP, PhD, or BSN with a Master's degree in a related field, required.
- Current certification required or to be attained within two years from date of hire.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Women's Health.
- Demonstrated evidence of exemplary nursing practice in Labor and Delivery.
- Three years labor and delivery nursing experience preferred.
- Recent experience as a nurse leader responsible for collaboration in a highly matrixed leadership structure helpful.
- Experience with labor relations preferred.
Qualifications

$147,097.60 - $213,959.20/Annual
