Nurse Coordinator - Stroke and Sepsis

Role Overview

The Stroke & Sepsis Coordinator develops and implements protocols for sepsis and stroke programs, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with medical staff to provide multidisciplinary patient care, review clinical data, and educate care teams, patients, and families.
• Work to decrease mortality and length of stay by developing individualized teaching plans and ensuring protocols become standard care.
• Collect and analyze patient data for improved outcomes.
• Coordinate committee meetings and facilitate staff education to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state.
• BSN preferred.
• Emergency or ICU nursing experience is advantageous.
