Nurse Clinician (Exempt)

Role Overview: Supports orientation, competency programs, in-service and continuing education, academic partnerships, and career development at the unit level for healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities: Facilitates role transitions, promotes evidence-based clinical practice, and influences patient care delivery. Organizes and multitasks to meet project deadlines, and utilizes Microsoft Office and audiovisual equipment effectively. Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of clinical experience or an Associate's degree with 10 years of hospital nursing experience, or 5 years if enrolled in an RN to BSN program. Valid state license and BLS certification are mandatory. Knowledge of patient care technology and equipment is essential. Preferred Skills: Certification or progress toward certification in a relevant specialty, 2 years of teaching experience, and additional life support certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC).
