About the Role

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing specialized nursing care within a multidisciplinary team in a pediatric healthcare setting. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a patient advocate and offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Deliver home care instructions to patients and families.
• Participate in staff and community education initiatives.
• Support outreach and outpatient programs.
• Collaborate under the supervision of the specialty area manager to ensure quality care.
• Provide consultative nursing services.
• Contribute to clinical and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Licensure as an RN in Michigan.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience, including one year in a specialized area.
• Pediatric acute care experience is advantageous.
• Preferred specialty certification.
