Grade Level 10 • Full-Time • Day shift, 40 hrs/wk, no weekends, no holidays, no on-call

About the Role

The medical oncology clinic nurse cares for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. This role will be primarily located in Richmond, KY – with occasional need to come to the main clinic at the Turfland UK Healthcare office. The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness.

Responsibilities

• Skilled assessments, care plans, and care plan implementation
• Patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions
• Work with medical professionals in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient-centered care focus on quality, safety, and service
• Apply working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) required; BSN preferred
• No prior experience required
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Windows, Word, Outlook)

Physical Requirements

• Handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds
• Standing/walking and sitting for long periods of time

Pay

$28.00–39.10/hour
