Nurse Clinical/Ambulatory/UKHC

Job Summary

This position is located off-campus in Lexington, KY at UKHC KY Clinic South. The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions.

Requirements

• Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, or standing/walking and sitting for long periods of time.
• Shift: Monday – Friday, Day Shift; 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hrs/wk)

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• ADN or BSN

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Basic computer knowledge, MS Windows, Word, Outlook, EPIC

Preferred Education/Experience

• ADN or BSN
