About the role

Paradigm is seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager to cover Northern Virginia to include but not limited to Arlington, Alexandria, Reston, Leesburg, and Manassas. It may also include coverage for Maryland and D.C. A Field Nurse Case Manager is a hybrid position. The candidate must be located in the Northern Virginia area due to regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. Candidate must be willing to travel and be licensed in VA.

Responsibilities

  • Medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals
  • Works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees
  • Closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers
  • Must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in VA
  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in DC (required within 30 days of start date)
  • WCCM and MCRSP certifications (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Travel required throughout Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland
  • Must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases
  • Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred. REQUIRED within two years of the date of hire
  • Valid Driver's License, and good driving history

  • Skilled at patient education
