Nurse Case Manager - Baltimore, MD
About the role
The Field Nurse Case Manager supports injured workers in Baltimore and nearby communities, including Phoenix, Towson, Aberdeen, Middle River, and other surrounding areas. This is a hybrid position requiring 80% local travel for in-person patient appointments.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the medical case management of work-related injuries.
- Work with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees to monitor the progress of the injured worker and report results to the employer and insurance carriers.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland.
- Maryland case management credentials (WCCM and MCRSP preferred).
- Candidates without these credentials must initiate the certification process immediately upon hire.
- Experience in case management of workers' compensation cases preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take on catastrophic cases.
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred and must be obtained within two years of hire.

- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight.
- Skilled at patient education.
- Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history.
