Responsibilities
The Nurse Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
Requirements
- Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, or equivalent training.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 weeks of hire and must be maintained thereafter.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
